The atelier began as a single room of two hundred bottles, an antique scale, and a borrowed wooden organ — the perfumer's instrument of essences. Helene had spent eight years at the great houses and returned with one conviction: that perfume should be made by the hand that imagines it.
Today the house occupies the same address. The room is larger. The principle is unchanged.
Three perfumers.
Seven fragrances.
We could be larger. We choose otherwise. Three perfumers — Helene Marquise, Olivier Beaumont, and Renaud Cassel — share the bench. Each composition takes between fourteen and twenty-two months from the first sketch to the first bottle.
We do not release a fragrance until it is ready. There is no calendar in our atelier. There is only the formula and the scale and the patience that the materials demand.
